When issuing the command "pmadmin set dbserver", you may find that the parameters that you did not specify in the command line will be reset. Pmadmin uses the parameters that are passed in the command line to set the configuration. If a parameter is not specified, pmadmin resets the configuration to hard-coded defaults.
