The Coalesys HTTP Client is a free component which was created to address the needs of developers who wish to perform HTTP requests and examine HTTP responses using a simple, high performance COM object. Implemented as an ActiveX DLL, the Coalesys HTTP Client was written entirely in Visual C++ and is dependency-free, not requiring any MFC, ATL or WinInet DLLs. It leverages the same technology found in the Coalesys Winsock Library.
