To develop Internet based applications there are several solutions available (GET or POST, Remote Data Services, COM Internet Services) each with its strengths and weaknesses and none offering a good enough solution. If you don't care about interoperating different platforms, XIR is simpler, easily accomodates ADO Recordsets and XML content, and best of all it's all written in Visual Basic!
